“It’s so nice to have you over, Raivis,” your mother cooed. It wasn’t often you invited people over to your house because you preferred to visit them. But Raivis’s parents were out of town on business, and you refused to let a friend spend his Thanksgiving alone.
“Thank you, Mrs. ____l/n____. It’s an honor, really. You didn’t have to do this.”
“Nonsense! When _______ told us that one of her little friends wouldn’t have any family around to celebrate with, we told her she wouldn’t have even had to ask! You’re part of our Thanksgiving family today.” She gave him a warm smile.
